I’m Lauren, owner and instructor at The Pole Hub Dance and Fitness. Here’s a little bit about me.
I started pole fitness in 2009 and quickly became addicted. I was attending classes more than 4 times a week and just fell in love with the pole community. It really is a pole family you join into. Your Instructor and fellow class mates are so supportive and encouraging in helping you achieve your goals. It’s great for your state of mind and of course your body.
I became an instructor in 2010 and haven’t looked back. Watching my students grow is so rewarding. I really couldn’t ask for a better job (minus being a mum of course)
I train with some of the best in the business and just love being a student. To name a few:-
Daniel Rosen, Sarah Scott, Lorna Walker, Bendy Kate, Kate Spin City, Leah Rose, Alex Shchukin and Maddie Sparkle. All absolutely amazing polers. Check them out on social media if you get a chance.
I didn’t start with any core or upper body strength and this is not compulsory. I was forever saying ‘I’ll never be able to do that.’ ‘I’ll never be that flexible.’ But once you put your mind to it, anything is possible.
Come and see what all the fuss is about and join our pole family. You won’t look back.
Pole fitness is a strong and growing community. It’s an aerial art which encourages flow, coordination, endurance and so much more. It targets every muscle in your body without you even realising it. On average, you could burn between 300-700 calories per hour. Pole fitness is certainly for all shapes and sizes! It really challenges you in the best way all whilst having fun and making new friends. The stigma of pole certainly is decreasing with lots turning to pole as their only form of fitness. It increases strength and stamina, enhances flexibility and is a great way to build confidence.
